The resort is built on 70 hectares of land with four stories and follows the basic Balinese architectural principles that no building should be higher than the coconut palms. The resort's Balinese-influenced design includes a combination of tile and alang-alang thatch roofing. Distinctive Balinese doors, limestone carving and a selection of Indonesian art and antiques add to the effect. Slate, wood and marble floors are used throughout the public areas, guestrooms, villas and conference facilities.
