The river at Gitgit Waterfall own strategically function to irrigate the water to the rice field those are located in Singaraja Town. A part of the water is also used for a water source supplied to each house in the town therefore the existence of the river is very important. The local people do regularly clean this river t keep the water constantly flows to the respective destination.
