Taman Ayun Temple or the local resident calls this temple as Pura Taman Ayun is a Royal Tempe of Mengwi Empire with beautiful temple building and multistoried roof. We will find a long fish pond surround the temple in the main area. It is one of the unique and fascinations for tourist who visit this place. There are two fishponds in the temple area where a big fishpond is located outside of temple area and another one is located in main temple area. This pond also encircles the temple building that makes this temple is unique temple in Bali. Beside of that, we can also find the temple building with multistoried roof up to 11 storeys. The existences of other buildings in this temple area are as the places to put the ceremony equipments which are more known as Piasan. The tourists who come to the place can have a look the temple from the close distance where the footpath is available for looking around conveniently.
