The existence of monkeys at Uluwatu Temple are believed that they able to keep the temple from the bad influence. There are thousands of monkeys dwelling the dry forest in front of Uluwatu Temple with cute face and welcome every visitors who visit this temple. There is three groups of monkeys cover three regions where the first region is located in east part of temple, the second regions is located in front of temple and the third regions is located in west part of this temple. Each region own territorial and lead by king of monkey that monitor their area from time to time to avoid mixer from other groups.
