Top Women World Tennis Player Have Joined This Tournament
Wismilak International WTA Tour Bali 2006 has been carried out for the 13 th that is held 10 - 17 September 2006 at Grand Hyatt Bali, Nusa Dua. This Tournament is participated by top women tennis player like: Lindsay Davenport, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Patty Schnyder, Daniela Hantuchova, Anna-Lena Groenefeld, and two Russian tennis player that are own new light career, Vera Zvonareva and Elena Likhovtseva. The Indonesian is also deputized by Angelique Widjaja (Angie). Angie which is after absent from the roll of Wismilak International Bali 2005 because still experience of the wounded recondition, finally that Indonesia young lady having a time to come up again this year. Through the facility of wildcard, Angie is having a time to come up especial act single number [in the tournament to fight over the total prize of US$ 225.000. This facility is third times given by Wismilak International to the young women tennis player from Bandung , west of Java . Women's World Tennis Tournament that is sponsored by Wismilak International is an annual international tennis tournament which is performed in Indonesia. In this year again it is performed in Bali which the last year also done at Grand Hyatt Bali, Nusa Dua. This Tournament is formal tournament in calendar of WTA Tour (Women's World Tennis) and represents the third tournament to fighting over the champion of equal to US$225.000. Since the first time performing of this tournament in year 1994, the Wismilak International representing the part of Sony Ericsson WTA Tour have performed this tournament in Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia and nowadays in Bali. Initially this tournament is so called Wismilak Open that is previously turned into Wismilak International in the year 1996 as reflection of company target in developing marketing to international market. Wismilak International Women's World Tennis Tournament still represent the biggest tournament in calendar of WTA in South East Asia.
