He also invites and leave message to the Director of Bali Tourism Development Center, Ir. Made Mandra to do Green Area by involving the visitor/tourists to plan one tree when his/her visit to Bali. The tree which has been planted will be named by the tourist's name so that on next visit he/she will see the three they have planted. The minister also inform to General Manager of all hotels in Nusa Dua to move their people staff to plant the trees to keep the area green. This action is relevant with the United Nation Conference pertaining the global warming which has been held in Nusa Dua last December 2007. Jero Wacik remind again to the Director of Bali Tourism Development Center (BTDC) to prepare the big tree seeds and invite the tourists to plant it so that they will remember when visiting the island on their next visit.
The opening ceremony by sticking the Kayonan is a symbol of mountain reflecting the preserving of nature. On this occasion, the minister also conveys the instruction from the Indonesian President, Susila Bambang Yudoyono to activate the tourism industry in order to achieve the Visit Indonesian Year 2008 Goal.
The Director of BTDC, Made Mandra on his speaking says that he proud to execute the Nusa Dua Fiesta 2008 as a promotion media in Nusa Dua Bali. Multifarious of events has been conducted by focusing to the theme of Green Tourism. This event has involved 49 regions throughout Indonesia which is started from 10 October 2008 until 14 October 2008. Many cultures event has been presented to invite the visitors to come to Indonesia. Each region presented their own cultures and feature that are all describing that Indonesia is the beautiful country that should be visited.
