Ulun Danu Batur Temple is sacred Hindu temple set on the hill bank in the tranquility of Kintamani Bali with amazing panoramic view of Batur Volcano and Lake. It is located at Kalanganyar village, Kintamani district and Bangli regency and recommended as one of Bali places to visit during your vacation in this paradise island. Penataran Agung Batur Temple as the principal temple has five main courtyards. 11-tiered meru is the most dominant shrines are situated in the inner and most sacred courtyard, three 9-tiered meru that dedicated to Mount Batur, Mount Abang, and Ida Batara Dalem Waturenggong. Ida Batara Dalem Waturenggong is the deified king of the Gelgel dynasty who ruled from 1460 to 1550.
